Besides the fact that fresh figs are my favorite fruit there is something sacred about figs and its tree. The fig might be the oldest fruit in the world and is mentioned in many historical writings. Some have great symbolical meaning.
A sacred secret message
Fig trees are mentioned many times in Biblical writings. You don’t have to be religious or Christian to benefit from its esoteric meaning. One mention is where Jesus cursed a fig tree because the found no fruit on the tree. After he cursed the tree it withered. (Matt 21:18).
Of course his students were quite shocked at this supernatural ability that Jesus displayed. So Jesus told them how he did it:
‘I tell you, if you have faith and not doubt, not only can you do what I did to the fig tree, but you can even say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.’
Basically he gave them a manifestation workshop. Don’t you love it? The first step in manifesting your desires is that you believe that it can be done, right? First believing, than receiving. And there are many steps in between what I will talk about in another writing.
However there is another secret yet simple truth in this story that was lost because they were too occupied with his supernatural abilities.
What is the secret?
It is simply this: a tree must produce fruit.
Fruit is the reason of its existence. If it doesn’t bear fruit it is not living up to its potential and you might as well curse it or cut it down.
Trees are symbolic of humans.
Humans, like tree, are to bear fruit.
But what is the fruit?
The fruit is you living up to your fullest potential. To express all that you are meant to be as a human being. Yes: you are designed, like the tree, to flourish, blossom and express your fullest potential.
This is my mission: to honor my birth right and become all I can be and express it. And I want to help you do the same!
This website is dedicated to you, my co-seeker of truth and a tree of potential. Will you join me on this great journey of becoming?
